Robin Greenwood 1950 – March 2023
Artist, art essayist, and of Poussin Gallery, Abstract Critical forum and Abcrit Gallery.
We’d like to extend our heartfelt thanks for all the letters, cards and messages of condolence that we have received in remembrance of Robin. We have been very moved and much appreciated all your kind words and thoughts and the many reflections on his life and work.
Viewings
At the start of 2023 Robin arranged a display of his recent sculptures and paintings in his studio and in the Abcrit gallery. The majority of the works were newly created or re-worked in 2020-2022. It was his hope that people would be able to experience the work in person, and in line with that wish the studio and gallery here at Block K are open to visit by appointment from 7th October 2023 until further notice.
Robin requested that photographs not be taken or circulated of the work currently on show as his hope was that people could experience the work in person, and we are grateful for your support in this.
The ground floor studio is accessible without stairs but circulation space between some of the artworks is restricted. The first floor is accessible by stairs only.
Viewing is by appointment: Saturdays, 2 – 5pm, from October 2023
